WHEREAS, the city of _______ wishes to recognize the outstanding service and conduct of ______ on the occasion of his/her return to City; and
WHEREAS, Since graduating from _____ High School, _____ has served as a member of the United States Marines including tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq; and
WHEREAS, _____ has been an important leader and example for his/her platoon, his/her friends and the many lives he/she has touched.
WHEREAS, _____ continues his exemplary efforts as he/she recovers from risks that he/she took so that others may enjoy peace.
