WHEREAS, on June 3, 2005, the California Asian Public Administrators Network And Caucus of Elected Asians (CA-PANACEA) will present a special conference on Asian Americans in Public
Service; and
WHEREAS, CA-PANACEA has worked to establish and provide a comprehensive range of resources for Asian Americans to develop, grow, and reach their full potential as public administrators
and elected policymakers; and
WHEREAS, CA-PANACEA has promoted professional networking leading to increased participation and visibility of Asian Americans elected to public office or appointed to executive positions
in public service institutions; and
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize the
California Asian Public Administrators Network And Caucus of Elected Asians
for its dedication and exemplary work to insure the vitality of our communities and governmental institutions.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Third day of June, Two-thousand and Five.
