WHEREAS, the city of Cupertino wishes to recognize the many students, families and teachers who participate in the Silicon Valley Korean School; and
WHEREAS, Silicon Valley Korean School students strive to be the best they can be and teachers and staff are truly great role models; and
WHEREAS, the high standard of the Silicon Valley Korean School, students and staff is an outstanding example for our community; and
WHEREAS, the Silicon Valley Korean School will be hosting a field day on May 14, 2005, with mini Olympics and performances of traditional Korean dance, music, and Tae Kwon Do.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the entire Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize the
Silicon Valley Korean School
in recognition of the positive influence the school has had in the lives of children, families and the community in Cupertino.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the city of Cupertino to be affixed this Fourteenth day of May, Two-Thousand and Five.
