WHEREAS, on Tuesday, November Fifteenth, Two Thousand and Five, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Santa Clara County Supervisor Liz Kniss, for twenty years of outstanding public
service; and
WHEREAS, Lizz has displayed outstanding leadership in education and muicipal government; and
WHEREAS, Lizz has been an active member of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and has served as an effective and accessible representative for Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, Lizz’s has been a leader in helping to build our multicultural community and has created an important tool for acknowledging the Asian American community with her Asian American
Heroes Award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby commend and recognize
Supervisor Liz Kniss
for her dedication and remarkable contributions to the community as demonstrated by her tireless work to build community in the city of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, November Fifteen, Two Thousand and Five.
