WHEREAS, the city of Cupertino wishes to recognize Eastern Television, ETTV America Corporation in Taipei, its officers, directors and staff on the occasion of its first anniversary;
and,
WHEREAS, ETTV is the leader in providing Chinese TV Programs to Chinese Americans, and is also the largest Mandarin video distributor nationwide, entering the homes of millions of Chinese
families; and,
WHEREAS, ETTV is working as an important and active community partner helping support local activities and communities.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby acknowledge and recognize
ETTV America Corporation
for their support and advocacy for the many Chinese-Americans in Cupertino and throughout Northern California.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the city of Cupertino to be affixed on the Fifteenth day of April, Two-Thousand and Five.
