RESOLUTION NO. 7168
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR OVERLAND STORM DRAIN
PURPOSES FROM TOM Y. TANIGUCHI, LOCATED SOUTH OF TULA
LANE; CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY .007 ACRE
WHEREAS, Tom Y. Taniguchi Grantor, has executed a Grant of Easement
which is in good and sufficient form, conveying to the City of Cupertino,
Grantee, an easement for overland storm drain purposes over the property
situate in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B", attached hereto
and made a part hereof:
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino
County of Santa Clara, State of California, consisting of approxi-
mately .007 acre, located south of Tu1a Lane
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cupertino accept said
Grant so tendered; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized
to record said Grant of Easement and this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cupertino this 4th day of May , 1987 by the following

Overland Drainage Easement
An easement (5.00 feet wide) for the installation, maintenance, and repair of
'an Overland Drainage System over, under, and upon a portion of that certain
Parcel of land granted from Halter R. Hood, et ux, to Tom Y. Taniguchi, et ux,
by Deed dated October 10, 1957, and recorded November 6, 1957 in Book 3931 of
Official Records, page lB7, Santa Clara County Records, the centerline of said
easement being described as follows:
., BEGINNING at the Northwesterly corner of the hnds of Taniguchi, hereinabove
described;' thence from said point of beginning along the Northerly line of
said hnds of Taniguchi North 890 58' East 19.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING of this description; thence leaving said Northerly line, South 64.5
feet; thence Southwesterly and Hesterly along a tangent curve to the right,
with ¡¡ radius of 19.00 feet, through a central angle of 900 02', an arc
length of 29.86 feet to the Hesterly line of said lands of Taniguchi, said
point being the terminus of this description.
