WHEREAS, the city of Cupertino wishes to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of Craig Breon on the occasion of his departure as Executive Director of the Santa Clara Valley Audubon
Society; and
WHEREAS, we thank Craig, for his outstanding contributions, to the City of Cupertino as a member of the Stevens Creek Trail Task Force and the work he did on the Master Plan, especially
the restoration components, for Blackberry Farm and McClellan Ranch Park; and
WHEREAS, Craig helped to create the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority and helped the authority to pass the tax measures needed to fund open space acquisitions; and
WHEREAS, Craig was named Environmentalist of the Year for 2004 by the Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize
Craig Breon
who has personified the diligence and community commitment that are so important to the success and quality of life of our community.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Seventh day of March, Two-thousand and Five.
