WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Hong Kong Schools Alumni Association, which consists of the finest schools in Hong Kong; and,
WHEREAS, the hard-working and committed members of this alumni association have provided important leadership within the local community; and,
WHEREAS, these active leaders have made significant contributions to the economic, political and cultural areas of American society; and,
WHEREAS, on the occasion of the alumni association’s 19th annual banquet celebration at the Hyatt Hotel in Burlingame, the city of Cupertino recognizes that members of this organization
are a valuable and much esteemed asset of the community.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby salute the Board and members of the
Hong Kong Schools Alumni Association
and wish all those affiliated with the association continued successes in future endeavors.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this 12th day of February, 2005.
