WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the longevity, vitality and accomplishments of Mary Lou Caldwell on the occasion of the celebration of her seventy-second birthday;
and
WHEREAS, Mary Lou’s personal strength has served as an anchor for her church, including Chair of the Young Lady Institute, and her priceless help with the annual barbecue, the annual
diocese appeal; and
WHEREAS, Mary Lou’s personal excellence is exemplified by her participation in her community, the value she places on friends and the importance of her contributions. Seldom does one
person make such a difference for good in so many people’s lives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cupertino City Council, do hereby commend and recognize
Mary Lou Caldwell
for her accomplishments and for the profound and positive example she has made for the community and people of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sunday, June Twenty-Fifth, Two Thousand and Six.
