WHEREAS, on Friday, October Twelfth, Two Thousand and Seven, the
City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Magdalen Y. Mui, Senior Vice
President of Wells Fargo Bank, at the 55thAnnual Overseas Chinese Day
and "Outstanding Chinese Americans of the Year" Award celebration;
and
WHEREAS, the event will be held by the Chinese Consolidated
Benevolent Association (CCBA) and the Chinese Consolidated Woman's
Association (CCWA); and
WHEREAS, Magdalen has achieved excellence in her field and has made
significant contributions; and
WHEREAS, Magdalen's work has greatly impacted her counterparts in
the United States.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of
Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Magdalen Y. Mui
in appreciation of her efforts, contributions, and valuable services to the
community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal
of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, October Twelfth, Two
Thousand and Seven.
