WHEREAS, the city of Cupertino wishes to recognize Jeanette Watson on the occasion of her retirement; and
WHEREAS, Jeanette’s career with the city of Campbell began in 1972, when she served as founding chair of the city of Campbell’s Civic Improvement Commission and continued to serve her
community including five terms as mayor of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, Jeanette has seen the city of Campbell through numerous changes and critical developments, and she has consistently performed her duties with professionalism, intelligence and
skill; and
WHEREAS, Campbell, and its surrounding communities, have greatly benefited from her countless hours of dedicated service and has been a conscientious steward of her city’s growth and
development, earning its longstanding gratitude.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Kris Wang, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby congratulate
Jeanette Watson
upon her retirement, and wish her continued success in all endeavors.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Eighth day of February 2007.
