WHEREAS, the city of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Northern California and its officers, directors and president, on the occasion of their
annual banquet; and,
WHEREAS, The Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Northern California was founded in 1989 and is now one of the largest Asian-American non-profit groups in the San Francisco Bay area
and Northern California; and,
WHEREAS, the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Northern California has over 300 members including a majority of self-employed business people and business owners; and,
WHEREAS, the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Northern California has many constituents in the Bay Area serving in high-technology, law, accounting, medicine, and engineering fields.
NOW, therefore, the Mayor and City Council of the city of Cupertino do hereby acknowledge and recognize the
Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Northern California
for their support and advocacy for the many Taiwanese American business people in Cupertino and throughout Northern California.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the city of Cupertino to be affixed on the Twenty-Fourth day of February, Two-Thousand and Seven.
