WHEREAS, on Monday, September Twenty-Fourth, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Lynn Pickett at the 38th Annual Santa Clara County Teacher Recognition
Day, for her outstanding contributions to Sedgwick Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, Lynn Pickett has exemplified excellence in the classroom, commitment to the profession, and dedication to the community; and
WHEREAS, Lynn has shown her ability to communicate subject matter in an interesting, relevant, and effective manner; and
WHEREAS, Lynn has served as a champion for students, schools, and community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Lynn Pickett
for her efforts and contributions and the role she has played in helping our youth succeed in the world.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Monday, September Twenty-Fourth, Two Thousand and Seven.
