WHEREAS, on Saturday, September Fifteenth, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Nan Hai Co., Inc., U.S.A., a corporation that started in San Francisco in
1987; and
WHEREAS, Nan Hai Co., Inc., U.S.A., is celebrating 20 years of service in promoting cultural and educational exchange between China and the United States; and
WHEREAS, Nan Hai Co., Inc., U.S.A., has sponsored over 100 lectures and training activities by renowned scholars from China and presented more than 170 art exhibitions and 30 performing
arts events.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Nan Hai Co., Inc., U.S.A.
a company that has grown into an important cultural enterprise excelling in its education, culture and book distribution endeavors.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, September Fifteenth, Two Thousand and Seven.
