WHEREAS, the city of Cupertino wishes to recognize KCNS TV 38, its officers, directors and staff on the occasion of the celebration of its launch on June Eighth; and,
WHEREAS, Multicultural Radio Broadcasting, Inc. (MRBI) was founded in 1982, and today, MRBI is the largest Asian American owned radio group as well as the largest Asian American owned
television group in the U.S.; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Arthur Liu, President and CEO of MRBI Multicultural Television has been dedicated to promoting multicultural media and is an important and active community partner helping
support local activities and communities.
NOW, therefore, the Mayor and City Council of the city of Cupertino do hereby acknowledge and recognize
Arthur Liu
for his support and advocacy for the many Chinese-Americans in Cupertino and throughout Northern California.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the city of Cupertino to be affixed on the Eighth day of June, Two-Thousand and Seven.
