WHEREAS, on Monday, October Eighth, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Hunan Changsha Furong District; and
WHEREAS, located in the hinterland of China’s Hunan Province, east and west, north-south, as downtown Changsha in Hunan Province back to the City of Hunan Province Furong District politics,
culture, finance, commerce and trade, information centers, Hunan is the window opening to the outside world; and
WHEREAS, Changsha Furong effectiveness of the central business district emerged, which has successfully attracted a number of national and regional strategic investors, regional economic
strength among the forefront of the central and western provincial capital city, “the world’s father of hybrid rice” Yuan Longping, world-renowned, state-level high-tech industrial
development zones Ryohei Park to rise rapidly, and the harmonious development of Furong District brought boundless vitality.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize the
Hunan Changsha Furong District
for creating an orderly competitive environment for entrepreneurship, the development of a fair an just environment, and a harmonious and peaceful living environment.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Monday, October Eighth, Two Thousand and Seven.
