WHEREAS: the Green Business Program recognizes local businesses that go beyond compliance with environmental protection regulations to adopt environmentally-sound practices in the areas
of energy efficiency, water conservation, solid and hazardous waste reduction and pollution prevention; and
WHEREAS: city of Cupertino businesses and organizations achieving Green Business Certification have demonstrated exemplary commitment to protecting our environment, conserving natural
resources, and enhancing quality of life for the people in our community; and
WHEREAS: by becoming certified as Green Businesses, these companies and organizations serve as community models that encourage others to strengthen their efforts to achieve more environmental
benefits for the city of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS: because of its excellent environmental record, «Name_of_Business» has earned recognition as a Certified Green Business in the city of Cupertino;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and City Council of the city of Cupertino, do hereby congratulate and commend
