WHEREAS, on Monday, October First, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Financial Planning Association, on the occasion of National Financial Planning
Week; and
WHEREAS, everyone can benefit from knowing the importance of financial planning and receiving objective financial advice; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Planning Association is committed to helping people discover the value of financial planning; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Planning Association currently represents 30,000 members and is dedicated to supporting the financial planning process to help individuals achieve their goals
and dreams.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby proclaim October 1s - 7th, 2007, as
Financial Planning Week
in Cupertino, in order to encourage and promote the valuable understanding of financial planning.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Monday, October First, Two Thousand and Seven.
