WHEREAS, on Tuesday, September Eighteenth, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Dorothy Schmid, for her outstanding volunteer work at Cupertino Senior Center;
and
WHEREAS, Dorothy has volunteered at the Senior Center for more than twenty-five years; and
WHEREAS, Dorothy is part of the one hundred and eighty-five senior member volunteers for the fiscal year 2006-2007; and
WHEREAS, Dorothy contributes her time and talents daily to make a real difference in the lives of others.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Dorothy Schmid
for her excellent work in improving the quality of life for people, families and city of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, September Eighteenth, Two Thousand and Seven.
