WHEREAS, on Thursday, September Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Janet Shannon at a gathering in her honor, for her outstanding contributions
to the children, families and City of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, Janet was a Cupertino CREST Award winner in ________; and
WHEREAS, Janet was the first School Resource Officer in Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, has been a profoundly effective advocate for increasing collaboration with the City of Cupertino.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Janet Shannon
for creating better schools and a stronger community for the people of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, September Fourth, Two Thousand and Seven.
