WHEREAS, on Monday, November Fifth, Two Thousand and Seven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Apple Inc. for donating eight Apple iMACS through their government donations division
to the Cupertino Senior Center computer lab; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the donation was to train seniors on Apple equipment in a safe and friendly environment and to encourage them to purchase Apple computers for their personal use;
and
WHEREAS, the City is both grateful for the equipment contributions so generously given by Apple Inc. and for the spirit of cooperation that has marked this fruitful partnership.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Apple Inc.
a company that has enabled Cupertino to continue important technology training for those members of our community who are in greatest need of information, service, and assistance.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Monday, November Fifth, Two Thousand and Seven.
