WHEREAS, on Thursday, January Twenty-Fourth, Two Thousand and Eight, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Ron and Marcia Cali as they are being honored as the donor of the year
for the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of San Jose; and
WHEREAS, the high standard of Catholic schools, students, and staff is an outstanding example for our community; and
WHEREAS, Catholic school students strive to be the best they can be and Catholic school teachers and staff are truly great role models; and
WHEREAS, Saint Joseph of Cupertino has been a central institution in the lives of many families throughout the history of our city; and
WHEREAS, Ron and Marcia Cali have generously given their time and energy for a multitude of local charities and events and have been instrumental in the positive growth and development
of Cupertino.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Ron and Marcia Cali
for their contributions and for the key role they play in promoting and ensuring a brighter, stronger future for our community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thursday, January Twenty-Fourth, Two Thousand and Eight.
