WHEREAS, on Sunday, June Twenty-Ninth, Two Thousand and Eight, Mayor Dolly Sandoval wishes to recognize Orrin Mahoney; and
WHEREAS, Orrin is the master multi-tasker, as evidenced by switching hats in a nano second; from council member to club president; from China to India; from Polio Plus to Eastern Elegance;
and
WHEREAS, Orrin has hit an all-time high in initiating and leading projects for the Club and the City, including the Tank House and Fall Festival; and
WHEREAS, Orrin has benefited the Club from his business, marketing and political acumen; and
WHEREAS, Orrin can smile even in the most challenging of discussions; and
WHEREAS, Orrin always sees the glass half full, not half empty (unless it is a wine glass); and
WHEREAS, Weekly Musings began coming out on Sunday evenings, Orrin has mastered the art of procrastination by sending them by email within hours of the Wednesday meeting; and
WHEREAS, Orrin never gave the club enough fellowship time, because he was busy “fellowshipping”.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that I, Mayor Dolly Sandoval, do hereby commend and recognize
Orrin Mahoney
for his Rotary Presidency and I am glad to help celebrate “kicking you out”.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sunday, June Twenty-Ninth, Two Thousand and Eight.
