WHEREAS, on Thursday, January Twenty-Fourth, Two Thousand and Eight, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Jennifer Johnson for Outstanding and Dedicated Leadership and Volunteer
Service as 2007 Chair of the Asian American Business Council of the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the Asian American Business Council is to promote, strengthen and enhance the inter-ethnic business environment in the Cupertino community; and
WHEREAS, the success of the State of California, the strength of our communities, and the overall vitality of American society depends in great measure upon the dedication of individuals
such as Jennifer Johnson who use their considerable talents and resources to serve others; and
WHEREAS, throughout its history, California has been blessed with citizens who possess great public spirit, who, in addition to their daily pursuits, have taken a keen interest in local
affairs, and Jennifer Johnson has participated in numerous enterprises with evidence of lasting contribution to the community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Jennifer Johnson
for her lifetime of achievements and her commitment to improving the quality of life for future generations.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thursday, January Twenty-Fourth, Two Thousand and Eight.
