WHEREAS, on Tuesday, June Third, Two Thousand and Eight, Mayor Dolly Sandoval wishes to recognize Greg Druehl; and
WHEREAS, Greg Druehl has been an educator at DeAnza for 27 years and has served the college as both an administrator and a faculty member; and
WHEREAS, Greg's charismatic teaching style engages students to think critically; and
WHEREAS, Greg uses real-life examples and humor in his lectures; and
WHEREAS, Greg sent hundreds of students to City Council meetings to see real government in action; and
WHEREAS, Greg always has a sunny disposition and positive manner about him.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved that the Mayor do hereby commend and recognize
Greg Druehl
in honor of his retirement and that he go out and continue to enjoy life to its fullest (without the necessary evil of grading papers).
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, June Third, Two Thousand and Eight.
