WHEREAS, on Wednesday, January Thirtieth, Two Thousand and Eight, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Deputy Dan Forest at the State of the City Address; and
WHEREAS, Deputy Forest has worked in the City of Cupertino for a total of approximately nine years and during this time he has worked Traffic Enforcement, Patrol, has been a Field Training
Officer training newer deputies entering patrol, and currently is assigned to the School Enforcement Position; and
WHEREAS, Deputy Forest is knowledgeable in the needs of the City of Cupertino and takes it upon himself to educate and assist other deputies to better understand and work toward the
needs of the community; and
WHEREAS, Deputy Forest has really shown his dedication to detail, compassion to students and parents, and willingness to work with the school officials and staff in his new position.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Dan Forest
for his outstanding work and the extremely valuable service he provides to the community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Wednesday, January Thirtieth, Two Thousand and Eight.
