WHEREAS, on Wednesday, March Nineteenth, Two Thousand and Eight, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the California Cricket Academy; and
WHEREAS, the California Cricket Academy is the first cricket academy for children from six to fifteen years in the USA; and
WHEREAS, the Academy provides comprehensive cricket coaching in multiple cities in Northern California since July 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Academy has state of the art equipment and facilities like worldclass bowling machine, Incrediballs, Kanga kits, batting cages with concrete pitch and two match grounds
with center pitches; and
WHEREAS, the coaches are professionally trained and impart high quality coaching to the students; and
WHEREAS, interschool competition finals will take place on March Nineteenth at Dilworth elementary where Miller Middle will take on Lawson Middle in the finals.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize the
California Cricket Academy
and the many dedicated supporters and participants who have worked so hard to make this academy a success.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Wednesday, March Nineteenth, Two Thousand and Eight.
