WHEREAS, on Tuesday, September Second, Two Thousand and Eight, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Kathleen Elliot; and
WHEREAS, every year Hsinchu holds a "Hsinchu City International Glass Art Festival" and the city welcomes the art work displays from all sister cities; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Elliot's art work has been sent to Hsinchu for the year of 2007 and 2008; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen, representing Cupertino, is always friendly and enthusiastic to loan her work to Hsinchu; and
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Kathleen Elliot
and are grateful for her participation, hard work, dedication, and outstanding contributions.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, September Second, Two Thousand and Eight.
