WHEREAS, on Friday, February Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand and Nine, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize EverTrust Bank during its grand opening; and
WHEREAS, EverTrust Bank is a subsidiary of Industrial Bank of Taiwan (IBT), which is the first newly established industrial bank in Taiwan; and
WHEREAS, headquartered in the City of Industry in Southern California, EverTrust Bank was established in Nineteen Ninety-Five by a group of overseas Chinese bankers and entrepreneurs;
and
WHEREAS, EverTrust Bank has six full service branches located in the City of Industry, Alhambra, Rosemead, Tustin, Cupertino and Arcadia; and
WHEREAS, EverTrust focuses on serving Chinese businesses in California by providing commercial real estate loans and deposit services; and
WHEREAS, EverTrust was rated a five-star bank by Sheshunoff Information Service, Bauer Financial Report and Veribanc; and
WHEREAS, EverTrust Bank has vision, professionalism, and is committed to enhancing its earning capabilities and pursuing a sustainable growth; and
WHEREAS, EverTrust bank will draw on the experience and expertise of the IBT Group to expand its product offerings and geographic reach.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby welcome
EverTrust Bank
to Cupertino and commend EverTrust for its exceptional performance and sound operations.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, February Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand and Nine.
