WHEREAS, on Thursday, June Twenty-Fifth, Two Thousand and Nine, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the California Cricket Academy; and
WHEREAS, the California Cricket Academy is organizing this year’s national junior cricket tournament to be played in Cupertino from June Twenty-Fifth to Twenty-Eighth, Two Thousand and
Nine; and
WHEREAS, the California Cricket Academy is the first cricket academy for children from six to fifteen years in the USA; and
WHEREAS, the Academy provides comprehensive cricket coaching in multiple cities in Northern California since July Two Thousand and Three; and
WHEREAS, the Academy has state of the art equipment and facilities like world class bowling machine, Incrediballs, Kanga kits, batting cages with concrete pitch and two match grounds
with center pitches; and
WHEREAS, the coaches are professionally trained and impart high quality coaching to the students.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize the
California Cricket Academy
and the many dedicated supporters and participants who have worked so hard to make this academy a success.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thursday, June Twenty-Fifth, Two Thousand and Nine.
