WHEREAS, on Saturday, April Tenth, Two Thousand and Ten, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the San Jose Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy on the occasion of their 8th anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy is a non-profit organization with fourteen locations around the world; and
WHEREAS, the mission of Tai Ji Men is to promote physical and spiritual health through Qigong; and
WHEREAS, they also promote the practice of truth, goodness, wisdom, and joyfulness in daily lives to explore the great potential of humankind; and
WHEREAS, they have participated in numerous community events and brought positive energy and joy to our society.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
San Jose Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy
for their outstanding work, dedication, and for creating a stronger and better community for the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, April Tenth, Two Thousand and Ten.
