WHEREAS, on Thursday, April First, Two Thousand and Ten, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Monta Vista High School Interact; and
WHEREAS, Monta Vista High School Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages fourteen to eighteen, associated with Cupertino Rotary; and
WHEREAS, Monta Vista High School Interact provide leadership development to our youth, perform local community services, and raise money for international causes.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Monta Vista High School Interact
in appreciation of its work with the City of Cupertino to initiate “Helping Hands”, create the web site, and perform valuable hands-on service to restore natural habitats, clean up creek
banks, and repair park equipment.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thursday, April First, Two Thousand and Ten.
