PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, November Sixteenth, Two Thousand and Ten, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Khong Guan Corporation; and
WHEREAS, Khong Guan Corporation was incorporated in Nineteen Eighty-Two as a US-based company that would specialize in the product development and marketing of its namesake biscuits;
and
WHEREAS, they are dedicated to identifying quality products and consumer needs, while building manufacturer, supplier, and consumer confidence in their abilities to serve in the development,
marketing, representation and distribution of their products; and
WHEREAS, they have grown over the years from a local household name to a major worldwide brand; and
WHEREAS, we thank them for supporting the economic impacts from the bankruptcy of Tin Tin Super Market.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Khong Guan Corporation
and thank them for supporting the businesses in Cupertino and providing residents a wide range of quality products.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, November Sixteenth, Two Thousand and Ten.
