WHEREAS, on Saturday, January Ninth, Two Thousand and Ten the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Joint Alumni Association of Chinese Universities and Colleges in Northern California
(JAACUC); and
WHEREAS, the Joint Alumni Association of Chinese Universities and Colleges in Northern California has established itself as an important community leader throughout the Bay Area; and
-WHEREAS, as a representative and advocate of thirty-six schools’ alumni and nearly five million individual members, JAACUC has done an outstanding job serving the community; and
WHEREAS, the association has held many useful forums that have attracted and benefited hundreds and thousands of people.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize the
Joint Alumni Association of Chinese Universities and Colleges in Northern California
for their hard work, leadership and significant contributions to the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, January Ninth, Two Thousand and Ten.
