WHEREAS, on Sunday, March Seventh, Two Thousand and Ten, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize “Dream Journey Goes to USA”; and
WHEREAS, this event will be one of the largest events in California and will be held at the Flint Center in Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, “Dream Journey Goes to USA” is co-sponsored by Mastermind College Funding Group, Sina, and ninety-nine people that are all coming from China; and
WHEREAS, this group is under China TV and all fifty awardees are bringing cultural performances to the United States; and
WHEREAS, they bring the traditional cultures from China exemplifying how Chinese people celebrate the Lunar New Year; and
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize
“Dream Journey Goes to USA”
and thank those who have put in all their hard work, time and effort to making this a successful event.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sunday, March Seventh, Two Thousand and Ten.
