WHEREAS, on Friday, September Twenty-Third, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize The Forum on the occasion of their 20th Anniversary; and
WHEREAS, The Forum has over four hundred and fifty residents, employs over three hundred people, and has been a supporter of Cupertino through the Chamber of Commerce, Veteran's Memorial
and other organizations for many years; and
WHEREAS, The Forum also hosts an annual Resource and Information Health Fair that is open to the greater community and offers health screenings, fitness demonstrations, healthy food
samples and more than fifty exhibits from non-profit organizations and other groups; and
WHEREAS, more than six hundred residents, friends, family members and community members participated in the event last year; and
WHEREAS, The Forum will be honoring approximately fifty residents who moved in to The Forum twenty years ago and are still residents at the community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize the
The Forum
for their hard work, dedication, and for creating a better community for the people of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, September Twenty-Third, Two Thousand and Eleven.
