WHEREAS, on Sunday, August Twenty-Eighth, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Sagar Joshi, a Scout from Boy Scout Troop 30, for achieving Eagle, the highest
rank in Boy Scouts; and
WHEREAS, Sagar's Eagle project involved the building of a 12' x 6' storage shed for Blach Intermediate School in Los Altos; and
WHEREAS, previous to the project, Blach School did not have adequate storage space; and
WHEREAS, the project took eleven workdays and over three hundred and thirty hours; and
WHEREAS, volunteers included boy scouts and parents from Troop 30, friends from the school, and his family; and
WHEREAS, the school can now use this shed for the storage of various materials and is especially useful for the school custodian.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Sagar Joshi
and congratulate him for his outstanding work and wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sunday, August Twenty-Eighth, Two Thousand and Eleven.
