WHEREAS, on Wednesday, October Twelfth, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the significant contributions of past Mayor and Councilmember Paul Finch; and
WHEREAS, Paul served Cupertino with integrity and grace from Nineteen Sixty-Two to Nineteen Sixty-Six; and
WHEREAS, he dedicated his time and service to making significant and positive changes, great and small, through his actions; and
WHEREAS, Paul promoted and encouraged a sense of giving and service by all citizens that contributed toward an inclusive and diverse community; and
WHEREAS, Paul’s profound commitment to the core values of democracy have permeated both our organization and community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby honor and recognize
Paul Finch
for his past service and counsel that serve to establish and maintain the highest standards of public service that have become synonymous with Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Wednesday, October Twelfth, Two Thousand and Eleven.
