WHEREAS, on Tuesday, August Second, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Natalie Ng of Monta Vista High School for her award from the Santa Clara Valley
Science and Engineering Fair Association (SCVSEFA); and
WHEREAS, over fifty years ago, the SCVSEFA was founded to encourage students to discover the wonders of science and engineering, reward them for their work and promote their interest
in science and engineering as a lifelong career; and
WHEREAS, the mission of SCVSEFA is to awaken more students to the wonders and power of science and engineering; and
WHEREAS, SCVSEFA accomplishes its mission through teaching, mentoring and the annual science fair, now known as the Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship; and
WHEREAS, for the past decade, the major sponsor for this fair has been the non-profit Synopsys Outreach Foundation.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Natalie Ng
and congratulate her for her outstanding work and wish her the very best in all her future endeavors.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, August Second, Two Thousand and Eleven.
