WHEREAS, on Thursday, July Seventh, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Jason Chan; and
WHEREAS, Jason has over six years of proven success in managing multiple projects and has demonstrated public affairs and public relations expertise; and
WHEREAS, he has established and maintained strong relationships with federal, state and local elected officials and community organizations; and
WHEREAS, he earned his Bachelor of Science – Double Major in Business Administration Corporate Finance and Financial Services and a Minor in Accounting at San Francisco State University;
and
WHEREAS, he also earned an Executive Masters of Public Administration, with honors, at Golden Gate University; and
WHEREAS, he was a personal banker and part of sales at Wells Fargo and Company, a Director of Commission Affairs at Mayor Gavin Newsom’s office, and is currently a Special Assistant
to the Chief Operating Officer at the San Francisco International Airport.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby proclaim July Seventh, Two Thousand and Eleven as
Jason Chan Day
in Cupertino and congratulate Jason for his outstanding work and wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thursday, July Seventh, Two Thousand and Eleven.
