WHEREAS, on Saturday, March Twelfth, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Cupertino National Little League (CNLL) on the occasion of their 50th Season
Opening Day Celebration; and
WHEREAS, since the spring of Nineteen Sixty-Two, CNLL has served the Cupertino Community and its youth in a one hundred percent volunteer organization; and
WHEREAS, Cupertino National covers the southwest area of Cupertino with teams ranging from the youngest T-Ball players up through the experienced seniors; and
WHEREAS, the objective of CNLL is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be
well adjusted, stronger, and happier children that will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize the
Cupertino National Little League
for their hard work and dedication and for all their wonderful services in the community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, March Twelfth, Two Thousand and Eleven.
