WHEREAS, on Sunday, January Ninth, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize United California Practitioners of Chinese Medicine (UCPCM) on the occasion of their
installation ceremony for the 2011-2012 Board; and
WHEREAS, UCPCM is a professional organization that mainly consist of Chinese ethnic acupuncturists in the Northern California; and
WHEREAS, UCPCM has overcome one obstacle after another and has thrived into one of the most active, influential and contributory professional institutions in California; and
WHEREAS, they have made many achievements in political, academic, education, public relation, as well as member benefits issues; and
WHEREAS, UCPCM is one of the largest professional associations in the northern State with a membership of four hundred strong; and
WHEREAS, UCPCM had done a lot of good work for the advancement and benefit of their profession, and Chinese practitioners in particular.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize
United California Practitioners of Chinese Medicine
and commend them for their hard work and dedication and congratulate them for all their accomplishments.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sunday, January Ninth, Two Thousand and Eleven.
