WHEREAS, on Wednesday, June Twenty-Ninth, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Bev Lenihan, outgoing president of Cupertino Rotary; and
WHEREAS, Bev dramatically increased the club's institutional memory with the creation of twenty-seven Playbooks documenting committees and events; and
WHEREAS, she created Bolder You! (U), the club's and District's first formal leadership training program for its members; and
WHEREAS, Bev added fourteen new members allowing the club to grow and increase its positive impact on the community; and
WHEREAS, she drove new club activities including the Rotary International Future Vision and Membership Pilot Programs; and
WHEREAS, Bev also championed the leverage of their resources of time, money and people resulting in the club donating over $1M dollars in money and time.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Bev Lenihan
and thank her for the outstanding work and wish her the very best in all her future endeavors.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Wednesday, June Twenty-Ninth, Two Thousand and Eleven.
