WHEREAS, on Saturday, February Nineteenth, Two Thousand and Eleven, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the 2011 Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce-Northern California (TACCNC)
Chinese New Year Fundraising Dinner Party; and
WHEREAS, we all benefit from TACCNC’s work and the many members of the organization who have helped TACCNC become one of the biggest Asian American non-profit organizations in Northern
California; and
WHEREAS, TACCNC’s goals have always been networking all the Taiwanese and Chinese Americans business people of Northern California and, more importantly, benefiting our American communities
as a way of expressing its genuine appreciation through annual donation to local charity groups; and
WHEREAS, they look forward to a full house of local, state, national dignitaries and many honorable guests; and
WHEREAS, their guest speaker is Dr. Sing Kung, a lifetime member of TACCNC, who was nominated as outstanding Taiwanese Business Entrepreneur of 2010 by TACCNC.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize the
2011 TACCNC Chinese New Year Fundraising Dinner Party
and thank the members of TACCNC for all their hard work, dedication, and creating a stronger community for the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, February Nineteenth, Two Thousand and Eleven.
