WHEREAS, on Sunday, April Twenty-Ninth, Two Thousand and Twelve, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Dandan Zhang, Professor and Taichi Master on the occasion of the 3rd annual
Anniversary of O-Mei Academy; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the O-Mei Academy is to promote the Taichi culture and Chinese culture to the west world; and
WHEREAS, this free event is open to the public where people will learn easy, yet powerful practices to help maintain and improve their health; and
WHEREAS, the Taichi Masters and Taichi World Champions will demonstrate different types of Taichi and share their expertise and knowledge.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby recognize
Dandan Zhang
for their generosity and service, as the community celebrates the virtues of Taichi which will make Cupertino a stronger and better community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed Sunday, April Twenty Ninth, Two Thousand and Twelve.
