WHEREAS, the Thirtieth Annual National Night Out is a unique crime and drug prevention event was held Tuesday, August Sixth, Two Thousand and Thirteen; and
WHEREAS, National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate participation in local anticrime programs, such as Cupertino’s Neighborhood Watch,
as well as strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
WHEREAS, this year, the Thirtieth Annual National Night Out event kicks off in the Target Cupertino parking lot and included free hot dogs, and children’s activities as well as several
Cupertino Community Outreach programs ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the contributions and support of Target Cupertino to our community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize
Target Cupertino
for its outstanding involvement and support in creating a stronger and better community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, August Sixth, Two Thousand and Thirteen.
