PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino warmly welcomes the Gracias Choir to the Bay Area for the Christmas Cantata production at Flint Center on Saturday, September Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand
and Fourteen; and
WHEREAS, the Gracias Choir is made up of students involved in the International Youth Fellowship performing in a 20 city tour; and
WHEREAS, the International Youth Fellowship is a global youth program that promotes cultural exchange through artful performances, facilitates volunteerism and helps develop leadership
skills for youth; and
WHEREAS, the goal of the Gracias Choir Christmas Cantata production is to provide heartfelt music and unforgettable scenes that spark joy and hope in people who may not have a
chance to experience this kind of performance otherwise.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby commend and recognize the
Gracias Choir
in celebration and appreciation for providing residents of Cupertino a performance that spreads joy and hope to the community and throughout the world.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, September Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand and Fourteen.
