WHEREAS, on Saturday, March Twenty-Eighth, Two Thousand and Fifteen, the Cupertino
Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual STAR Awards at a gala banquet at the Cypress
Hotel; and
WHEREAS, based on achievements and contributions in areas such as civic and community
service, education, and governmental affairs, nominees are recognized for significant service,
teamwork and achievements in the community; and
WHEREAS, the STAR Award recipient for Medium Business of the Year is Pacific
Workplaces; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Workplaces has been helping businesses thrive since 1985; and
WHEREAS, since opening, Pacific Workplaces has assisted over 2,000 startups, entrepreneurs,
solopreneurs and freelancers start and grow their businesses; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Workplaces offers flexible workspaces through full-time offices, virtual
office solutions, coworking and meeting rooms for Cupertino businesses.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby
commend and recognize
Pacific Workplaces
for creating a stronger community for the people, businesses, and City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, March Twenty-Eighth, Two Thousand and Fifteen.
