WHEREAS, the Chinese American Real Estate Association was formed in 1988 in the San
Francisco Bay Area; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the Chinese American Real Estate Association is to promote
the social and economic well-being of members and to further the professional image of
Chinese Americans engaged in the field of real estate; and
WHEREAS, the regular activities of the Chinese American Real Estate Association include
meetings and seminars featuring speakers, discussing contemporary and critical real
estate issues which are educational, informative, and provide a forum for meeting and
networking with other Chinese American real estate professionals; and
WHEREAS, the Chinese American Real Estate Association programs are designed to
increase businesses among its members by the exchange of information, ideas and intra-
organizational real estate activities; and
WHEREAS, the Chinese American Real Estate Association is holding their Installation
Dinner on December 4, 2015 in Cupertino, CA; and
WHEREAS, Coco Tan is being installed as President of the Chinese American Real Estate
Association along with the 2015/2016 Officers and Board of Directors.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby
recognize the
Chinese American Real Estate Association
and congratulate the organization on providing excellent, informative networking
opportunities for its members and extend best wishes for its continued success.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, December Fourth, Two Thousand and Fifteen.
