WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to acknowledge the dedicated service
of Margaret Rich; and
WHEREAS, since 2007 she has been a steadfast and reliable member of the
Cupertino Medical Reserve Corps, volunteering without
reservation at major community events throughout the year where
medical support and assistance is needed; and
WHEREAS, her commitment to public health and emergency response is
demonstrated by leading classes in CPR and by her regular
attendance at ongoing training sessions and drills; and
WHEREAS, Margaret devotes additional time and energy throughout the region
as a member of Santa Clara County’s Medical Volunteers for
Disaster Response (MVDR) team; and
WHEREAS, her vast experience as a nurse reflects a lifelong passion for helping
others and serving with utmost care, compassion and competence.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby
commend and recognize
Margaret Rich
for her dedicated work and commitment toward building a stronger and better
community within the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Twenty-Eighth day of May, Two Thousand and Fifteen.
